Roland DWX-52DCi Milling Machine

Description

This proven Roland DWX-52DCi Milling machine, with new DWINDEX performance monitoring software, has a 6-slot Automatic Disc Changer. This enables automated production from a range of materials. Unlike a single disk machine, you can load up to 6 different disks of either, different materials or a range of different shaded Zirconia. If needed this milling machine will mill all night long therefore providing 25% more production than a single disc mill plus the convenience of automated material selection.

The DWX-52DCi has a 15 position tool holder meaning you can keep dedicated tools for specific materials resulting in better wear rates and limits on cross-contamination. The Roland control software can also automatically change a tool when it’s expected tool life is reached.

The Roland DWX-52DCi milling machine has a truly open system allowing the use of all suitable materials produced in the international 98mm diameter discs. Other systems may close the materials options to proprietary supplies by having non-standard disk adapters; this can limit material choice and will ultimately cost more.

It has a 30 Degree B-Axis rotation which enables the cutting tool to reach more extreme undercuts and limits the likelihood of residual material. It has a small compressed air requirement (30 Ipm at 2 bar) reducing initial set up costs. This is one of the many advantages of having a dedicated dry milling machine – wet mills require significantly more air.

A huge advantage when purchasing a Roland machine is the Roland extended warranty and extended ‘Roland Care’. The ability to support end users adequately is something that most other dental milling machine manufacturers are simply not able to do. This allows them to have a dedicated support call centre, 10 full time trained engineers plus more trained sub-contractor engineers. Should a machine fail and an engineer visit is required 98% of the time the machine will be working when they leave – thus Roland boasts a 98% first fix rate.

When covered by the extended Roland Care, all support and machine repairs are fully covered by Roland so new users never have to worry about unexpected repair costs. A good example is if your spindle wears out through use Roland will replace one per year at zero cost.
